Meet The Team - EARS Clinics

My name is Sinead and I have been working in healthcare for over 12 years and have been a registered nurse for 7 years. Over the years I have worked in a variety of different acute hospital settings which has helped me to gain a wide range of knowledge and skills relating to health. In 2023 I decided I would like a change in career but also to still be looking after peoples health in some way. This is when I joined the team at EARS clinic and I am thoroughly enjoying my role as an Aural Care Specialist Nurse.

I began in the ambulance service in 2006, advancing from a renal driver to Paramedic, a qualification I completed at Glasgow Caledonian University. My career allowed me to witness the profound moments of people's lives, teaching me deep care, empathy and kindness. Personal reasons led me to leave the service in 2022, but I still maintain my registration and occasionally work shifts. In 2023, I earned my DipHe in aural care and now passionately deliver high-quality care at EARS Clinics. I have 3 daughters, 2 granddaughters and I am also a proud dog mum of 3.

My name is Lindsay. After dedicating over five years to early childhood education, I ventured into healthcare by joining EARS Clinics as an administrative assistant while continuing in childcare. Intrigued by the medical field, I eagerly pursued further education and completed specialized training to become an Aural Care Specialist. Now, each day at the clinic is a fulfilling experience as I apply my skills in this vital healthcare role.

Hi I'm Diane. I qualified as a Registered General Nurse in 1997 obtaining a BSc in Nursing (a long time ago) providing holistic care in a variety of settings during this time. I have worked in both the acute and community sector. I am registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council.

 

I obtained my Diploma in Primary Ear Care in 2019 and went on to qualify as an NHS accredited Rotherham National Trainer in Ear Health Care, covering Scotland and Cumbria.

 

I work across all of our clinics and also recruit, train staff and am the National Trainer for Scotland and Cumbria in Ear Care ( NHS Rotherham Foundation Trust).
