Meet The Team - EARS Clinics

I have worked as a Physician Associate for over 6 years across both primary and secondary care settings. During this time, I have gained valuable experience in different clinical environments, which has helped me develop strong clinical skills, adaptability, and a patient-centred approach to care.

This experience has allowed me to continue building my knowledge and confidence while developing my practice across a range of clinical settings.

​

I was fortunate enough to join the EARs team in September 2025, and I am excited to continue developing my skills and enhancing my practice as part of the team.

I qualified as a registered Adult nurse in 1999. I based my nursing career as a theatre scrub nurse assisting the surgeons in complex procedures within various specialties. Theatre has allowed be to gain a vast knowledge of skills in both emergency and elective settings.

 

I am a very keen knitter, crocheter and love making baby clothes, blankets, and cuddly toys. Anything crafty really. I enjoy selling all my creations at christmas stalls.

 

I joined the EARS team in March 2026. With my 26 years of nursing experience i wanted a new challenge but maintaining a career within patient centred care. 

 

I have a husband married for 22 years, two beautiful daughters and my lovely dog luna.

I qualified as a nurse in 2022, obtaining a Master’s degree in Nursing. I have worked on wards as well as in treatment rooms, where I discovered my passion for wax removal.

​

I decided to pursue a career in ear care and was fortunate enough to secure a role at EARS Clinic. I undertook specialised training to become an Aural Care Specialist and, together with the skills I have acquired from over 12 years in the nursing field, I endeavour to provide personalised care tailored to every patient’s needs.

​

I truly enjoy my role as an Aural Care Specialist, and it gives me immense pleasure knowing that I have made a difference.

My name is Sinead and I have been working in healthcare for over 12 years and have been a registered nurse for 7 years. Over the years I have worked in a variety of different acute hospital settings which has helped me to gain a wide range of knowledge and skills relating to health. In 2023 I decided I would like a change in career but also to still be looking after peoples health in some way. This is when I joined the team at EARS clinic and I am thoroughly enjoying my role as an Aural Care Specialist Nurse.

My name is Leighann, I worked as a dental nurse from 2007 until 2023. During my time working in dental, I was able to gain expertise in all aspects of dental care, including 7 years assisting with Maxillofacial surgery. I enjoyed all aspects of dentistry but I especially enjoyed patient care. Over the years I found I was able to develop skills in understanding and empathy which I have been able to transfer into my everyday life. I was lucky enough to join the team at EARS in June 2024 and professionally it has been a move that I thoroughly enjoy (maybe even more than the patients).

My name is Lindsay. I dedicated over six years to early childhood education with my qualification being in Social services (Children & young people). I ventured into healthcare by joining EARS Clinics as an administrative assistant while continuing in childcare. Intrigued by the medical field, I eagerly pursued further education and completed specialised training to become an Aural Care Specialist.

 

My extensive experience in early childhood education, particularly in managing challenging behaviours, supporting children with special needs and ongoing training in Speech and Language Therapy has been invaluable in my healthcare role. Now, each day at the clinic is a fulfilling experience as I apply my skills in this vital healthcare role. I have no human babies of my own, though a proud bunny mum to Drake & Josh.

My name is Diane, I qualified as a Registered General Nurse in 1997 obtaining a BSc in Nursing (a long time ago) providing holistic care in a variety of settings during this time. I have worked in both the acute and community sector.

 

I obtained my Diploma in Primary Ear Care in 2019 and went on to qualify as an NHS accredited Rotherham National Trainer in Ear Health Care, covering Scotland and Cumbria.

 

I recruit, train staff and am the National Trainer for Scotland and Cumbria in Ear Care (NHS Rotherham Foundation Trust).

I have 5 sons, 2 grandsons and 2 granddaughters.
